About us...

We thank you for your interest in Theme Parties In A Box.   Theme Parties In A Box was founded by me - Karin Anderson - with the goal of making it easy for parents to host a personalized party that is affordable, convenient and fun.

Theme Parties In A Box has been in business for over 6 years and it has been a great business to run.  Due to health issues I’ve decided to step down and pass the business down to my youngest brother, Christian Castillo.  I can assure you that your celebration couldn’t be in better hands!  Christian, together with Jessica Jefkins, will make sure that your celebration is your easiest and best one yet!

But before I step down I’ll fill you in on how the business got started.

As parents of 3 young children (a girl first then boy/girl twins), we knew how difficult and time-consuming it can be to put together a birthday party.   Theme Parties In A Box was started out of the total frustration of having to go from store to store to store to find all the party items every time we wanted to have a birthday party for one of our children.  

One year, after numerous trips to the stores to locate bits and pieces for our children’s Theme Party, we decided that there had to be a better way. We wanted to make it easy for other parents to have a Theme Party without the hassles and frustrations of throwing one.  After all, we have been there ourselves! 

We think parties should create family memories and fulfill a child's fantasy for one day--the most important day of the year.  We want them to be enjoyable and to help our children to share that fun with family and friends.  We also believe that birthdays shouldn't be so complicated, expensive, or stressful that we lose sight of what's really important. 

With this in mind, I started Theme Parties In A Box: your one-stop party shopping - everything from candles to lootbags, delivered right to your door.  

Our mission is to offer affordable high quality theme parties packaged for your child and delivered to your door while making your child's next birthday party the most memorable of all!
